Som ni kanske kommer ihåg (eller inte) så har jag förklarat att Breaking Dawn skulle bli PG-13 och vad det betyder. Jag kan förklara nu att PG-13 betyder innebär att om man är under 13 år så kan vissa delar vara olämpliga.

Sverige kan vara lite hårdare så PG-13 i USA blir antagligen 15-års gräns här, men det är inte säkert. 13 låter bättre eftersom 15 blir lite högt tycker jag men 11 för lågt, det är synd att inte 13 finns i Sverige.

Både Twilight och New Moon har fått åldersgränsen PG 13 i USA. Nu även Eclipse med förklaringen "intense sequences of action and violence, and some sensuality".

Both Twilight and New Moon were PG-13 as well, but for slightly different, and somewhat telling, reasons: Twilight garnered its rating due to "some violence and a scene of sensuality," while New Moon earned it for "some violence and action."

Confirming what the most recent trailer suggested, Eclipse's rating indicates that the action quotient has been ramped up compared to the first two movies. It appears that Eclipse's marketing will try to build on this in order to attract action-seeking males who have been unmoved by Edward and Bella's love story up to this point. At the very least, more action may serve to make the movie more tolerable for the males that are dragged to see Eclipse.
